With all the latest hype-generating machines out there, including the complex and expensive EA IP3 method of splashing their work across multiple mediums, it’s nice to know that some companies can keep it simple and old school.

This series of adverts definitely speaks to the older gamer in me, reminiscent of slogans like “It does what Ninten-don’t” or “Now you’re playing with power” that were plastered all over the magazines and arcades I loved to attend. It was a match of wits that didn’t need to worry about proving their fancy photorealistic physics engines or motion captured rag-doll animations to stay above the pack, it was all about saying “We’re more badass than the rest, play me”.
