You’ll have to forgive Andrew, he’s not quite the same after a long day at work, but he eventually gets back on track! Our two intrepid heroes take a swipe at this weeks news and releases with added gusto! On the block is Activision; more Activision; oh and did we mention Activision? Yeah they’re satan.

Nothing starts off a week better than a new console and with a new PS3 in the house, much fun is to be had. Dave joins the fray as we talk about Capcom, the mainstream media, remakes, more of the Top 100 from Edge and more!
Dave and Andrew kick out the week’s news and new releases despite the dribbling from Dave over the new House of the Dead shooter on the Wii. On the chopping block is another attempt to understand 50-Cent, Activision’s continued efforts to remain the safest company in the industry and yet another patent fallout for Nintendo and Sony.
Andrew and Dave delve in to the heart of midland USA to ponder just why they’re so scared of today’s new-fangled technology! We also come to terms with the release of GFWL employees from Microsoft and other news of the week!
For those interested in checking out the “Legend of Princess” game, hit up Konjak for all the fun!
It’s Console War Vets podcast time again and the entrepid duo Andrew and Dave find themselves deadlocked in a perilous game of cat-and-mouse with this year’s “Most Anticipated” games. Dan’s review of Home is finally read out and Shane shares his top five releases of ‘08 (Congrats on the wedding!).
Hey everyone! I’ve managed to cobble together a quick-shot blast using the new studio setup, so consider this more of a test and a chance to catch up on the news of the week. I’m still getting used to the bits and the bobs and the shiny things I shouldn’t touch (special effects… BAAAAAD – well they’re good but they make for a tacky show unless I can find a proper use for them!). Enjoy!
This week Dave and Andrew have a special guest drop in… Shane! The week’s news and reviews are covered, with highlights on the release of the Chain of Memories remix, Michael Atkinson’s recent interview on the ABC, all time sales numbers for the PSP and DS and how Squeenix managed to smack down PS3 fans over FFXIII.
As part of this week’s special podcast there are a couple extra links to check out:

Dave and Andrew delve in to gaming news this week with Majesco placed under attack at the hands of PETA for this Thanksgiving season in America (check it out here – not for the weak of stomach or those who are Vegetarian for ethical reasons). There’s the usual gab and the new releases for this week has a surprising entry!
