The development studio Double Fine (home of the sexy-adventure-mastermind Tim Schafer) is feeling the cold as the Activision-Vivendi merger has resulted in their latest project “Brutal Legend” without a publisher. This is a kick in the seat of the pants for a still rather small company that’s recovering from it’s last project (Psychonauts) which only seemed to find an audience in-retrospect.

Here’s hoping it’s only a temporary set-back and this project doesn’t die off with a whimper instead of with the bang it truly deserves.
